Tinte Cellars - Seattle – Georgetown Tasting Room
Washington wines, Vinyl Thursdays, and local art in Seattle’s historic Georgetown neighborhood
Best known for: Washington wines from estate vineyards and independent growers
Tinte Cellars’ Seattle–Georgetown Tasting Room pairs Washington wine with local art, music, and a seasonal food menu at 5951 Airport Way South in Seattle, Washington. This is the city tasting room, not the production winery in Woodinville, and its strongest draw is the reason to linger: Vinyl Thursdays come with all-day happy hour, while Friday Night Flights feature rotating library wines—older releases—and reserve selections.
Founded in 2018, Tinte Cellars is owned by husband-and-wife team Tim Gamble and Teresa Spellman Gamble. Winemaker Noah Fox Reed, whose experience includes six years as assistant winemaker at Northstar Winery, oversees roughly 4,000 cases annually, entirely from Washington grapes. Estate vineyards in the Red Mountain and Rattlesnake Hills American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) contribute fruit alongside growers elsewhere in the state. A portion of every wine sale supports nonprofits; the 2026 recipients include Mary’s Place and Northwest Harvest.
Georgetown suits an afternoon tasting that stretches into the evening, rather than a vineyard outing. The tasting room opens midafternoon Wednesday through Friday and at noon on weekends, with service continuing into the evening; Monday and Tuesday are closed. Local artist showcases and themed events give return visits a different focus, and the refurbished space also hosts private gatherings.
