Pali Wine Co. - Anaheim Tasting Room
Central Coast Pinot Noir and natural wines in Anaheim’s historic Packing District, with late-night weekend tastings
Best known for: Central Coast Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and experimental natural wines
Pali Wine Co.’s Anaheim Tasting Room brings Santa Barbara County wines to the historic Anaheim Packing District in Anaheim, California. The draw is the combination: cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay alongside the more experimental wines of Neighborhood Winery, Pali’s natural-wine label. This is an urban wine stop that fits into an evening around food, rather than a vineyard outing that requires a day of its own.
Behind the tasting room is a family-run producer led by two generations of the Perr family, with Aaron Walker directing winemaking operations in Lompoc. Pali’s 50-acre estate vineyard in California’s Sta. Rita Hills American Viticultural Area grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Gamay, Syrah, Chenin Blanc, and Dornfelder. Nick and Carmen Perr lead Neighborhood Winery, whose wines ferment with native yeasts and receive no fining or filtration, with minimal sulfur added.
At the Anaheim location, visitors choose tasting flights, glasses, or bottles, with wines also available to take home. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations give planners an option to book ahead. Weekday visits start at 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday begin at noon. Friday and Saturday service runs until midnight—a useful distinction for travelers whose wine plans start after dinner.
