Cottage Vineyard & Winery in Cleveland, Georgia, pairs a broad selection of wines with panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views from elevated overlook decks. The 29-acre property sits in the North Georgia foothills, and the appeal is as much an afternoon on the terrace as a tasting at the bar. More than 15 wines span bold reds, crisp whites, and sweet Southern styles. Guided tastings cover five wines; flight boards give guests the option to settle into a seat and taste at their own pace.

The family behind The Cottage includes Jim and Sandra Penner and Nathan Beasley. A veterans memorial wall gives the property a more personal dimension: it carries names contributed by customers from across the country, with military-branch and first-responder flags surrounding the space. Jim Penner’s more than 20 years of United States Air Force service give that tribute particular meaning.

The tasting room opens daily, with later evenings on Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome, while reservations are recommended for groups of six or more. Leashed dogs can join guests on the outdoor terrace. Cheese and meat trays are available, and food trucks visit most Saturdays and Sundays.
