Historic farmhouse tasting in a historic setting

Best known for: Old vines and premium Washington wines

Woodward Canyon Winery was established in 1981 by Rick and Darcey Small. It is an independent, family-owned winery located in the heart of Washington State's Walla Walla Valley.

The winery is known for its high-quality wines, especially its Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. They place a strong emphasis on terroir and traditional winemaking techniques.

The estate vineyard features a mix of old vines planted in 1978 and newer plantings. Their approach is minimal intervention, allowing the natural characteristics of the grapes to come through.

The tasting room is housed in a renovated 1870s farmhouse, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their award-winning wines.

Woodward Canyon remains a prominent name in the Washington wine industry, recognized for its commitment to quality and sustainability.
