Water Canyon Winery

Water Canyon Winery in Hildale, Utah, brings the vineyard, production area, tasting room, and dinner table together at one address. Winemakers Shane and Kalie Tooke make natural wines without added sulfites, preservatives, or enzymes. The family-owned winery dates to 2021, and its Hildale property offers more than a tasting counter: guests can stroll through the vines and see where the wines are made.

A walk-in tasting costs $25 per person for four wines totaling 5.5 ounces. A $20 charcuterie board serves up to two, with cheese, cured meats, fruit, nuts, crackers, and a sweet bite. The tasting room operates Thursday through Sunday, noon to 8 p.m., making this a late-week and weekend stop rather than an everyday option.

The Winery Café gives Hildale another reason to linger. Chef and owner Indy Tooke prepares made-from-scratch dishes with seasonal ingredients, and all café seating is outdoors among the vineyard vines. Dinner runs Thursday through Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m., with reservations recommended. One useful distinction: wine by the glass is available only with food orders, while tasting flights remain a separate option.
