Established in 1985, Cardinal Point Winery is a family-operated farm winery located in the heart of Virginia's wine country, specifically in Nelson County.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the winery offers a picturesque setting with views of the Rockfish Gap, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Skyline Drive.
The Gorman family, inspired by their experiences in Germany, planted the first vines and have since expanded to 15 acres.
Cardinal Point specializes in limited production, handcrafted wines that highlight the unique style and terroir of the Monticello American Viticultural Area.
Visitors can enjoy tastings in a welcoming atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating options.
