Poteet Country Winery is located just two miles behind the expansive Strawberry Festival Grounds in Poteet, Texas. It is a family-run establishment known for its exceptional fruit wines, especially those made from strawberries.

Established on July 4th, 1998, by Jim Collums and his family, the winery was one of the first 50 to register in Texas. It was created to make use of the abundant Poteet strawberries, which are renowned for their taste and sweetness thanks to the region's ideal growing conditions.

The winery remains at its original location and continues the tradition of crafting high-quality wines from locally sourced fruit. Visitors can enjoy a unique wine tasting experience and learn about the winemaking process.
