Naylor - Markets at Shrewsbury
Historic winery with deep roots in Pennsylvania wine history
Best known for: Pioneering Chambourcin grape cultivation
Naylor Wine Cellars was founded in 1978 by Richard and Audrey Naylor and played a significant role in the Pennsylvania wine industry. The winery was known for its dedication to quality winemaking and was the oldest winery in the York region.
Richard Naylor was a pioneer in promoting the Chambourcin grape in the United States and received numerous accolades for his contributions to the wine community.
After Richard's passing in 2018, the winery closed its doors in August 2019, marking the end of an era.
However, the Naylor family continues to operate Wine Packaging by Naylor, a service-driven corrugate packaging supplier for the wine industry, ensuring that the legacy of Naylor Wine Cellars lives on.
