MountainRose Vineyards is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in Wise County, Virginia. It was started by David and Brandy Lawson, who had a vision for turning this historic coal country into a thriving vineyard.
Since opening in 2004, the winery has grown to produce a variety of wines, including sparkling options and hard apple cider. They’re known for creating award-winning wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region.
The vineyard has become a favorite spot for both wine lovers and casual visitors. It offers a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy tastings and participate in events.
