Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery

Organic vineyards with a family legacy and story-rich wines

Best known for: Award-winning organic wines from Idaho

Holesinsky Vineyard + Winery was established in 2001 by James Holesinsky and is considered a pioneer in Idaho's wine scene. Located in Buhl, Idaho, the winery was born from a dream to honor James's father, Frank.

Since then, it has become known for its versatile flavors and high-quality wines. The vineyard is committed to organic practices, producing grapes free of glyphosates, chemicals, and synthetic fertilizers.

James's journey into winemaking started with a love of gardening, which led him to plant his first vines in 2001 and pursue education in enology. Over the years, the winery has earned recognition for its organic wines, including winning an Albertson’s Choice Award in 2006 for its off-dry Riesling.

Today, Holesinsky Vineyard + Winery continues to celebrate life and love through its wines, inviting visitors to experience the stories of the Holesinsky family in every sip.
