Guy Drew Vineyards / Crooked Creek
High desert setting with scenic tasting experiences
Best known for: High altitude Colorado wines
Founded in 1998 by Guy Drew and his wife Ruth, Guy Drew Vineyards started out as a hay farm and has grown into one of Colorado's most well-known wineries.
The vineyard is located in McElmo Canyon, southwest of Cortez, and they focus on making wines that showcase the beauty of Colorado.
The winery has a tasting room that’s open daily from noon to 5 pm, where visitors can enjoy their wines and learn more about the winery.
The vineyard covers 155 acres, with care taken to preserve the high desert landscape and promote land stewardship.
As the winery has grown over the years, they’ve expanded their facilities, including opening a new tasting room in partnership with Mesa Indian Trading Company & Gallery.
