Four Brothers Wine Co.
Family-owned Los Olivos winery pairing vineyard-designated Syrah and Grenache with a town-center garden tasting room
Best known for: Vineyard-designated Syrah and Grenache, plus Grenache Blanc
Four Brothers Wine Co. in Los Olivos, California, pairs a family-run wine label with a town-center tasting room in Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley. Behind the name are Christopher, Kurt, Casey, and Kyle Blasman, with Christopher serving as winemaker. Small-lot wines span reds, whites, rosé, and sparkling, but Syrah and Grenache give the selection its strongest through line.
Thompson Vineyard Syrah and Portico Hills Grenache anchor that focus, with library bottles reaching back to the 2018 and 2019 vintages. Peake Ranch Vineyard supplies another Syrah as well as Pinot Noir. White-wine drinkers have more than a token alternative: Grenache Blanc comes from both Curtis Vineyard and Tres Hermanas Vineyard, alongside Zotovich Vineyard Chardonnay and Picpoul Blanc from Santa Ynez Vineyard in Happy Canyon. A Grenache rosé rounds out the range.
The tasting room at 2935 Grand Avenue makes sense as part of a walk around Los Olivos rather than a vineyard excursion. An outdoor garden provides space for wine and people-watching, and dogs and children are welcome. Saturday live music runs from 5–7 p.m., making late afternoon the better fit for visitors who prefer their tasting with a soundtrack. Reservations and private-event bookings are available.
