Corison Winery
Historic estate with organic, sustainable vineyards
Best known for: Exceptional Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Founded in 1987 by Cathy Corison, Corison Winery is celebrated for its commitment to producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects the unique terroir of Napa Valley.
The winery sources grapes from distinguished benchland vineyards between Rutherford and St. Helena, focusing on sustainable and organic farming practices.
Notably, the Kronos Vineyard, planted in 1971, is one of the last old Cabernet vineyards in the region, yielding concentrated and complex wines. The Sunbasket Vineyard, originally planted in the 1950s, adds bright fruit and aromatic qualities to the blends.
With a philosophy that emphasizes the connection between wine, time, and place, Corison Winery continues to craft wines that are both expressive and age-worthy.
Cathy Corison's dedication to sustainability is evident in the winery's Napa Green certification and organic vineyard practices, ensuring that the land is preserved for future generations.
