Coiled Wines
Idaho’s first vineyard-centric tasting room in a relaxed setting
Best known for: Idaho's inaugural grape-growing AVA
COILED Wines is located in Garden City, Idaho, and offers a relaxed wine tasting experience that highlights the best of local grapes. Founded by Leslie Preston, the winery pays tribute to Idaho's Snake River Valley, which is the state's first American Viticultural Area (AVA).
The journey of COILED Wines started in 2008 with just 380 cases of Syrah. Since then, it has grown to produce around 2,000 cases, all made from Idaho-grown grapes. Visitors can stop by their tasting room, open from Wednesday to Sunday, to sample a variety of wines in a friendly setting.
Some of the wines you might try include Dry Riesling, Sidewinder — a Syrah blend — and Rizza, a Sparkling Brut Riesling. COILED Wines is known for its focus on quality and innovation, making it a popular spot for wine lovers.
Beyond tastings, the winery hosts private events and participates in community activities, helping it establish a strong presence in the local wine scene.
