Chatom Vineyards is nestled in the breathtaking Esmeralda Valley of the Sierra Foothills in Calaveras County.

The winery was established by Gay Callan in 1980. It began with the planting of Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc in 1981.

Since then, it has expanded to 65 acres and now features 13 varietals, including Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Sangiovese, and five Portuguese varietals.

Known for its estate-grown, award-winning fruit, Chatom Vineyards continues to thrive in the heart of California's wine country.
