Ceccoli Vineyards
Family-owned winery in Winnie, Texas, growing Black Spanish and Blanc du Bois on a 17-acre property
Best known for: Texas wines with estate-grown Black Spanish and Blanc du Bois
Ceccoli Vineyards in Winnie, Texas, pairs a small on-site vineyard with wines made from grapes sourced across the state. Owners Chris and Kadie Yazinski bring different preferences to the table: Chris favors white wine, while Kadie prefers red. The 17-acre property carries the name of Chris’s great-grandfather, John Ceccoli, whose tradition of gardening, curing meats and making wine gives the business its family connection.
The vineyard’s first plantings date to 2011 under Clay and Stacy Rollins. Black Spanish and Blanc du Bois grow here today, giving visitors a connection to the grapes behind the estate wines. The setting is rural Southeast Texas, approximately 60 miles from Houston, with seating in the tasting room or outside among the vines. This is a place for a glass and an afternoon rather than a tasting-counter dash.
Public visits run Thursday through Sunday, with late-afternoon openings on Thursday and Friday and earlier starts on weekends. Wine comes as tastings, glasses or bottles, with pizza, charcuterie boards and flavored olive oils available alongside. Private tastings offer another option for groups of eight to 20 and require advance arrangements; catered events and wine-and-food pairings add reasons to return.
Tasting Hours
