Bowers Harbor Vineyards

Historic estate with scenic vineyard views and nature trails

Best known for: Wines reflecting Northern Michigan's unique character

Established in 1991, Bowers Harbor Vineyards is located on Old Mission Peninsula, just 12 miles north of Traverse City.

The estate was originally a horse farm, but now it features 20 acres of vinifera vines and a welcoming tasting room housed in a former stable.

The winery focuses on producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of Northern Michigan. They offer a variety of wines including Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir.

The Stegenga family, who live on the estate, carefully tend to the land. They also invite guests to enjoy scenic views while tasting their wines.

Additionally, the property has a nature trail, making it a great spot for both families and wine lovers.
