Aridus Wine Company - Scottsdale Tasting Room
Arizona wines in a former art gallery in Scottsdale’s Old Town Arts District
Best known for: Arizona wines spanning Sauvignon Blanc to Graciano
Aridus Wine Company – Scottsdale Tasting Room brings a Willcox-based winery to Scottsdale, Arizona’s Old Town Arts District. At 7173 E. Main Street, the former art gallery puts a guided wine tasting within walking distance of galleries, museums, and restaurants. Caged chandeliers and high-top leather chairs give the room its own character, alongside the natural and reclaimed materials that connect Aridus’ tasting rooms visually.
Founder Scott Dahmer and winemaker Jef Stebben are the people behind a broad range of wines, from Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia Bianca to Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, Malbec, and Graciano. Production takes place in Willcox, Arizona, in a repurposed apple-storage warehouse—not at the Scottsdale tasting room. Scottsdale’s appeal is the chance to explore those wines without making the drive to the production winery.
Seated tastings change monthly, with a hospitality team member guiding each pour; wines by the glass and small bites offer a less structured alternative. Parties of five or fewer visit without reservations. For six or more, reservations are recommended in the private back room, with a single tab and a 25% automatic gratuity. Daily noon openings make this an easy afternoon stop, while Friday service extends to 11 p.m., with a limited menu after 8 p.m.
