The 2500 acre Calistoga AVA, established in 2010, is contained within the larger Napa Valley AVA and is Napa Valley’s northernmost AVA. As a result, the AVA has the highest daytime temperatures of any Napa Valley AVA. The Calistoga AVA abuts the Diamond Mountain District AVA to the southwest, the Knights Valley AVA to the northwest, and the Saint Helena AVA to the south. Grapes have been grown in the area since the mid-19th century, and the AVA contains several historic wineries and vineyards to include Chateau Montelena and the Eisele Vineyard. Scroll down for a comprehensive list of Calistoga wineries and click “map view” to access the advanced winery search. Whether you would like to visit a winery that provides beautiful vineyard lodging, has food available to complement its wines, hosts vineyard weddings, provides free wine tasting, has picnic facilities available, or produces wines from organic grapes, we make it easy to find the best Calistoga wine tasting and touring destinations.
