Founded in 2000 by Steve and Kristin Zichichi, Zichichi Family Vineyard is located in the heart of Zinfandel country in Dry Creek Valley, California.
The winery produces full-bodied wines made from 100% handpicked estate-grown grapes. They use traditional winemaking techniques to create wines that are big, bold, and full-bodied, aging them for 20 months in French and American oak barrels.
The vineyard covers 22 acres, with 14 acres dedicated to Zinfandel and 4 acres to Petite Sirah. Some of the vines were planted in 1928 and 1964.
After selling grapes to local wineries for years, the Zichichis built their own winery in 2006. It features a rustic tasting room and a scenic deck overlooking the vineyard.
