Best known for: Unique blends of French and Californian varietals
Y. Rousseau Wines is a dream that began long ago in the South-West of France and continues to grow and evolve today.
Founded by Yannick Rousseau, a French native and passionate winemaker, the winery embodies a blend of French tradition and Californian innovation. Yannick, who was born in Gascony, France, brings his rich heritage to Napa Valley, where he and his Texas-born wife, Susan, run the family winery.
Their wines are crafted with a focus on balanced drinkability and food compatibility, making them sought after by wine enthusiasts. The winery is known for its unique varietals, including Colombard and Tannat, and for its commitment to artisanal winemaking.
Y. Rousseau Wines offers tastings in a historic house in downtown Sonoma, providing an insightful exploration of their wines led by Yannick himself.
