Wawawai Canyon Winery, located in Uniontown, Washington, is celebrated for its exceptional wines and commitment to sustainable vineyard practices.
As the first commercial vineyard in Whitman County since Prohibition, it was founded by David and Stacia Moffett in 1994.
The winery benefits from the unique terroir of the canyon, characterized by extreme heat, marginally fertile soil, and steep slopes.
The vineyard features a diverse selection of varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc, with additional Bordeaux varietals like Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Carménère.
