Vine Hill Ranch is located in the prestigious Oakville AVA of Napa Valley and has a history that goes back to 1884. The Phillips family has been cultivating this land for three generations, gradually shifting from grape growing to winemaking.
Their approach relies on producing a true 'wine of place' by minimizing intervention in the winemaking process. The estate vineyard covers seven blocks, where they grow lush, aromatic Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that thrive in well-drained soil and a temperate climate.
Guided by winemaker Françoise Peschon and vineyard manager Michael Wolf, the winery places a strong emphasis on sustainable farming practices. This helps to preserve the natural resources of the land for future generations.
