Val Verde Winery, established in 1883 by Italian immigrant Frank Qualia, holds the title of the oldest continuously operating winery in Texas. Nestled in Del Rio, this family-owned gem has been crafting wines for over 140 years, steeped in a rich history of tradition, quality, and craftsmanship.

Known for its small-batch, award-winning wines, Val Verde Winery boasts the notable Don Luis Tawny Port among its offerings. The winery has also garnered accolades such as the Land Heritage Award, a testament to its enduring excellence.

Today, the fourth generation of the Qualia family continues to uphold this legacy, blending tradition with innovation in the Texas wine scene.
