Upper Five Vineyard

Biodynamic farming in scenic Rogue Valley setting

Best known for: Biodynamic wines in Oregon's Rogue Valley

Upper Five Vineyard is located at an elevation of 1920 feet outside of Talent, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley AVA. It was established by Terry Sullivan and Molly Morison in 2003.

The vineyard started with the planting of sauvignon blanc, temprillo, and syrah grapes on the historic Bagley pear orchard. In 2005, it became the first in Southern Oregon to receive Organic certification, and in 2018, it achieved Demeter certified Biodynamic® status.

The vineyard’s unique elevation and northerly aspect help the grapes retain good acidity and develop complexity.

Upper Five Vineyard emphasizes hands-on Biodynamic® farming and natural winemaking. This approach results in vibrant wines that reflect the terroir. All wines are fermented with native yeast, highlighting the character of each vintage and the site.

The winery aims to produce balanced, food-friendly wines that are varietally correct and precise, believing that food and wine are meant to be enjoyed together.
