Tongue River Vineyard & Winery
Historic vineyard with mountain views and handcrafted wines
Best known for: Wines made from Montana-grown fruits
Established in 2010, Tongue River Winery is dedicated to producing wines exclusively from fruits and grapes that thrive in Montana.
The winery does not use any West Coast vinifera grapes or non-hard fruits, focusing instead on great hybrid grapes and unique fruits.
With a vineyard spanning 3 acres, the winery cultivates hybrid grapes alongside hundreds of shrubs and trees.
Each year, they ferment 20-30,000 pounds of fruit, resulting in over 1,000 cases of wine.
The winery shares its passion through events and sales, connecting directly with customers.
