The winery sustainably farms nearly 150 acres, primarily within the Laurelwood District AVA, which is known for its distinctive soil series that produces wines of great elegance and complexity.

Established in the late 1960s by Dick and Nancy Ponzi, the winery has been a pioneer in the region, focusing on sustainable viticulture and enology.

The estate vineyards hold the prestigious LIVE Certified Sustainable designation, recognized globally as a high standard for sustainable practices.

In 2021, Ponzi Vineyards was acquired by Groupe Bollinger, marking a new chapter in its storied history while continuing to uphold its legacy of innovation and excellence in winemaking.
