Tara Vineyard & Winery, the oldest winery in Henderson County, is owned and operated by the Pierce family.
Nestled among the vineyard is the TARA INN, housed in the historic Murchison home, which was constructed in the 1880s and relocated from downtown Athens. The inn is currently open for overnight guests, providing a unique experience for visitors.
Guests can indulge in a sensory symphony of acclaimed wines, ranging from luscious dessert wines to bold reds and delicate whites. Each sip promises a journey of satisfaction, leaving taste buds craving more.
The winery also offers a casual atmosphere with share plates and appetizers available during all hours of operation.
