Standing Stone Vineyards, located in Hector, New York, is a historic winery renowned for its innovative approach to winemaking and commitment to sustainability.

Established in 1972, the vineyard is situated on the southeast side of Seneca Lake, where the unique sun and slope aspects greatly influence grape growing.

Since 2017, under the ownership of Fred and Maressa Merwarth and Oskar Bynke, the winery has embraced biodynamic farming practices, eliminating synthetic inputs and herbicides.

The winery is particularly noted for its focus on the Saperavi grape, a unique teinturier varietal, offering a range of styles that showcase its versatility.

Visitors can enjoy tastings in a cozy setting with picturesque views, learning about the winery's dedication to producing wines that reflect their unique terroir.
