Established in 1987 by Peter & Paul Bargetto and Jon Morgan, Soquel Vineyards is a testament to the founders' passion for winemaking in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The winery quickly gained acclaim for its beautifully crafted wines, including the notable 1989 Santa Cruz Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.
In 1998, they expanded to a new 5-acre property, constructing a state-of-the-art winery with handmade Italian tiles and stunning cellar doors crafted from salvaged redwood.
Soquel Vineyards is celebrated for its commitment to sustainable farming and the production of premium wines, particularly Pinot Noir, showcasing the unique terroir of the region.
The winery remains a family-owned operation, with the founders actively involved in daily operations, dedicated to producing exceptional wines.
