Sonoma Portworks is located in the historic Foundry Wharf building along the Petaluma River. It is the only winery in Sonoma County that specializes in crafting award-winning ports and after-dinner wines.
Established in 1994, the winery prides itself on using sustainably-grown grapes from family-owned vineyards to create balanced and flavorful ports.
The founder, Bill Reading, revolutionized the fortified wine world with innovative blends like DECO and DUET.
The tasting room offers an educational and memorable experience. It welcomes guests for tastings without reservations and provides curated cheese pairings to enhance the tasting experience.
With a commitment to quality and creativity, Sonoma Portworks continues to produce a diverse range of artisanal wines, including port-barrel-aged brandy and fig-infused liqueurs.
Tasting Hours
Thursday - Monday from Noon-5 pm. Last tasting at 4 pm. Walk-Ins Welcome. Parties of 6 or more: Reservations Required.
