Smith Vineyard & Winery

Smith Vineyard has been a cherished part of the Grass Valley community for over 31 years, offering a selection of award-winning wines that have garnered recognition from esteemed publications like Sunset Magazine.

The winery has received multiple accolades, including Double Gold and Best of State for its 2013 Primitivo at the California State Fair.

As of April 3, 2018, the Smiths announced their retirement, closing the winery and tasting room but continuing to farm their vineyard and sell certified organically grown fruit to other winemakers.

They express deep gratitude to their customers and the community for their support throughout the years, looking forward to new adventures in retirement while maintaining ties to the local area.
