Smith Vineyard has been a cherished part of the Grass Valley community for over 31 years, celebrated for its commitment to producing high-quality, certified organic wines.

The winery has garnered numerous accolades, including recognition from Sunset Magazine and multiple awards at the California State Fair, notably a Double Gold for their 2013 Primitivo.

As of April 3, 2018, the winery and tasting room have officially retired, marking the end of an era.

The owners, Gary and Chris Smith, express deep gratitude to their loyal customers and the local community for their support throughout the years.

Although the tasting room has closed, the vineyard will continue to operate, providing organically grown fruit to other winemakers while the Smiths look forward to retirement and new adventures.
