Shamrock Vineyard

Historic vineyard with 40 years of family tradition

Best known for: Central Ohio's oldest vines and wines

Founded in 1984, Shamrock Vineyard is a testament to the pioneering spirit of Dr. Thomas N. Quilter and his wife, Mary, who began planting grapevines in 1971.

Located just outside Waldo, Ohio, this vineyard is recognized as Central Ohio's oldest, with a rich legacy now carried on by their grandson, Thomas Van S. Creasap.

Following the passing of Dr. Tom in March 2006 and Mary in January 2010, the vineyard continues to thrive, celebrating its 40th year of operation in 2024.

Shamrock Vineyard offers a variety of wines and hosts events, including the popular Twilight Dinner series, which features wine tastings, catered dinners, and live music.
