Seven Springs Winery
Hilltop winery in Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks, growing Norton and Vignoles on a 160-acre property
Best known for: Estate-grown Norton and Vignoles, plus sweet and sparkling wines
Seven Springs Winery in Linn Creek, Missouri, pairs estate-grown Norton and Vignoles with a hilltop setting between Camdenton and Osage Beach. The 160-acre property gives this Lake of the Ozarks winery its strongest draw: a covered porch and patio overlooking rolling foothills, plus more than two miles of hiking trails. Owner Kolton Booth and his family carry forward founder Mike Bleile’s vision of a place for wine, food, and gathering.
The wines cover more ground than a strictly dry-wine tasting. Dry Vignoles and Chardonel Dry sit alongside semi-sweet Traminette, sweet Spring Fling, Norton, and Syrah. Sparkling choices include Moscato Sparkling and the sweet Blushing Springs, while Party Cove Tan Lines White takes the sangria route. Bottles generally run $29–$34, making the range easy to navigate without a large price jump between styles.
This is a better fit for an afternoon with lunch than a quick tasting-room stop. Food extends beyond cheese trays to burgers, smoked salmon spinach-artichoke dip, and flatbreads topped with fig jam, prosciutto, and arugula. Weekend live music adds another reason to settle in; microbrews give non-wine drinkers an option, too.
