Rowe Ridge Winery & Vineyard was established in 2005 and holds the distinction of being the first vineyard in Wyandotte County, Kansas. It's located just north of the Kansas Speedway and Sporting Kansas City Stadium, making it easy to find and close to a growing community.
The vineyard covers five acres and has around 3,000 vines, growing nine different varieties of hybrid and native American grapes. The winery started producing its own wines in 2007, and the tasting room opened in 2012.
Visitors can currently sample a selection of 10 wines, which include five estate-grown aged dry wines and two fruit wines. The winery also features seasonal offerings like wine slushies and mulled wines.
Guests can enjoy the scenic views from the tasting room deck, which is handicap accessible. Rowe Ridge Winery is a good spot for wine lovers and also for hosting special events.
