The vineyard was started by Dean Carrell, who used to be a charter pilot. Its spot at 1850 feet elevation gives it a special terroir that helps create wines with good depth and balance.
Besides Pinot Noir, they also make a sleek rosé and a luscious mistelle. All of their wines are recognized for their rich flavors and good overall balance.
The winery emphasizes quality, which has earned it some recognition. Their 2018 Pinot Noir received a 95-point score from Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
