Pruett Vineyard

Scenic mountain slopes fostering small-batch craftsmanship

Best known for: Handcrafted, small-lot wines

Pruett Vineyard is located on an eastern slope of the Northern Sierra Foothills. It was founded by champion racecar driver Scott Pruett and his wife, Judy.

The vineyard benefits from a unique terroir characterized by fractured rock and red clay soil. This environment is ideal for growing Alban and 470 clone Syrah, as well as 337 Cabernet grapes.

Scott and Judy made the switch from successful racing careers to winemaking, bringing the same passion and determination to their vineyard. They are known for their aromatic and expressive Syrahs.

Pruett Vineyard has quickly gained acclaim and is considered one of the more celebrated producers in the region. Although the vineyard is not open to the public, they offer exclusive wine clubs and maintain a strong online presence. Enthusiasts can purchase their limited-release wines directly through their website.
