Ponderosa Valley Winery

Ponderosa Valley Vineyard & Winery is located in the scenic Ponderosa Valley on the southern slopes of the Jemez Mountains. It’s well known for its award-winning wines.

As the largest Riesling vineyard in New Mexico, the winery benefits from the region’s ideal growing conditions, including deep, well-drained volcanic ash soils and a climate characterized by long, hot days and cool nights.

The winery produces three different styles of Riesling, picking grapes at various ripeness levels to create distinct flavors. They also produce a gold medal-winning Pinot Noir that has become one of their signature varietals.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy free wine tastings and sample a range of current releases in the tasting room.
