Poe Wines

Founded in 2009 by Samantha Sheehan, POE Wines takes inspiration from the wines of Burgundy and Champagne.

The winery is dedicated to producing vineyard-specific, age-worthy wines that showcase the unique terroir of California.

With a philosophy of minimal intervention, POE employs judicious use of sulfur and avoids any additives in their winemaking process.

The winery produces a range of wines including traditional Champagne method sparkling wines, rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a nouveau from Pinot Noir, all made in very limited quantities.

POE sells its wines directly from the winery and to high-end restaurants across the country.

Once a year, the winery hosts a celebration for the release of their nouveau, collaborating with a local chef to prepare a meal for the wine community and customers.

In 2017, POE partnered with Farella Vineyard and Forlorn Hope to open a collective tasting room in downtown Napa, where guests can enjoy a selection of POE wines alongside offerings from the other wineries.
