Peay Vineyards

Maritime terroir shaping vibrant, nuanced wines

Best known for: Distinct expressions of Pinot Noir and cold climate Syrah

Peay Vineyards was established in 1998 and is located in the far northwestern corner of the West Sonoma Coast, just four miles from the Pacific Ocean. The vineyard covers 53 acres and is known for producing small quantities of high-quality wines.

The winery specializes in Pinot Noir and Syrah. The unique maritime climate here allows grapes to ripen slowly, helping the wines to retain their acidity and develop complex flavors.

Peay Vineyards produces several distinct cuvées, including Ama, Pomarium, and Scallop Shelf for Pinot Noir, and La Bruma and Les Titans for Syrah, each reflecting the unique terroir of the vineyard.

The winery is committed to sustainable farming practices and prioritizes quality over quantity. Over the years, Peay Vineyards has built a loyal following among wine enthusiasts.
