Palencia Wine Company, founded by Victor Palencia, is located at the base of Red Mountain in Benton City, Washington. The winery is dedicated to producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
Victor's journey in winemaking began at a young age, learning from his father and brothers. The winery sources grapes from several prestigious AVAs, including Red Mountain, Wahluke Slope, Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley, and Royal Slope.
Their estate vineyard thrives on well-drained, sandy soils, allowing for the cultivation of varietals like Grenache and Mourvèdre. With a commitment to quality and sustainability, Palencia Wine Company offers a diverse range of wines, including Sparkling Cunoise and Roselia Rosé, crafted from their estate-grown grapes.
Visitors are welcome to experience their wines firsthand at the onsite tasting room, which is open by appointment.
