Northern Hollow Winery
Award-winning wines amidst picturesque vineyard strolls
Best known for: Making great wines from cold hardy vines
Northern Hollow Winery, located just 1.5 miles west of Foley on HWY 23, is a family-owned and friendly spot that focuses on crafting great wines from cold hardy grapes.
The winery has gained recognition for its quality, having won the prestigious Governor's Cup twice — a first for any winery in the state.
It was founded by Jim Truehart. His journey began 17 years ago when he received a wine-making kit as a gift. After facing some early challenges, Jim dedicated himself to learning the craft of winemaking, which led to numerous awards in amateur competitions.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the fantastic wines, explore the vineyard, and stroll through the pheasant and peacock pens.
