Miramar Vineyards

The Wineries of Santa Clara Valley have a history that stretches back over 250 years. It is recognized as California's first premium wine-producing area, with roots dating back to the first European cuttings planted at Mission Santa Clara in 1798.

Despite facing challenges such as phylloxera and Prohibition, the valley has continued to thrive. This resilience is thanks to local farmers who have been dedicated to improving the quality of the wines produced here.

Today, the Santa Clara Valley is home to more than 50 wineries. These range from century-old family operations to newer wineries, all making exceptional wines.

The region's Mediterranean climate, with its diverse soil types and sustainable practices, plays a key role in producing the high-quality wines that the valley is known for.
