Meteor Vineyard
Volcanic-soil estate with handcrafted vineyard practices
Best known for: Distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville
Meteor Vineyard is a collaborative project between vineyard proprietor Barry Schuler and renowned Napa Valley winemakers Bill and Dawnine Dyer.
Nestled on a knoll in Napa Valley’s Coombsville appellation, the vineyard benefits from a unique combination of elevation, aspect, and rich volcanic soil, which together produce some of Napa Valley’s most distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon.
The winery's commitment to quality is evident in their meticulous vineyard management and winemaking practices, ensuring that each vintage reflects the unique terroir of the region.
The vineyard is particularly noted for its Perseid Cabernet Sauvignon, which showcases the vineyard's diverse clonal planting in a singularly expressive wine.
