Menghini Winery is situated at an elevation of just above 4000 feet, nestled at the foothills of Volcan Mountain, 2.5 miles outside the historical town of Julian, California.
As the second oldest winery in San Diego County and the oldest in Julian, it is surrounded by apple orchards and a six-acre vineyard.
The winery boasts expansive picnic grounds with stunning 365-degree views of the countryside.
Menghini Winery produces approximately 4,000 cases of wine annually.
The winemaker and co-owner, Michael Menghini, began his wine career at San Pasqual Winery in the 1970s and has since worked at several notable wineries before purchasing Menghini Winery with his wife, Toni, in 1980.
Known for its award-winning wines, the winery offers a unique tasting experience amidst stunning landscapes.
