Maragas Winery, located in the heart of Central Oregon, has been crafting award-winning wines for more than two decades.
Nestled between the stunning rock formations of Smith Rock State Park and the Cascade Mountains, the winery's estate vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate that supports a variety of European grape varietals.
Founded in 1999 by Doug Maragas, the winery initially sourced grapes from other areas before establishing its own vineyard. In 2004, Doug and Gina Maragas married and began planting traditional European wine grapes, with their first experimental block named 'Sam’s Block' after their daughter.
Today, Maragas Winery produces wines from 20 different varietals, including Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, and Riesling, and emphasizes organic and sustainable farming practices.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the scenic views and taste the fruits of their labor on the winery's patio.
