Maboroshi Vineyard & Wine Estates is located in Sebastopol, California, and is known for its exceptional wines. The vineyard is nestled among the hills of southwestern Sebastopol, which provides natural protection against excessive coastal fog and wind. This helps produce a unique expression of the terroir.
Situated in the Russian River Valley, often called the 'golden triangle' because of its renowned Pinot Noir vineyards, Maboroshi sits between 400 to 600 feet above sea level. The vineyard features fine, sandy loam, Goldridge soils that offer excellent drainage and nurturing conditions for the Dijon selections of Pinot Noir vines, which were planted in 1999.
The winery is committed to organic and biodynamic practices, hand-tending the vineyard to bring out the true character of the site. Visitors are welcome by appointment only, ensuring a personalized experience that highlights the artistry and dedication behind each bottle.
