Las Nueve Ninas Winery

Elevated winery with historic family traditions and handcrafted practices

Best known for: Unique hybrid varietals and handcrafted wines

Las Nueve Niñas Winery, operated by the Aragon family, is situated at an elevation of 7600 feet in Northern New Mexico. This high altitude creates a unique microclimate that is ideal for growing grapes.

The winery is now in its fourth generation of development. They focus on nurturing hybrid varietals to produce distinctive white, red, and fruit wines that reflect the region's culture and traditions.

Their offerings include Capulin (choke cherry), Tempranillo, Dona Tulles table red, and Riesling wines. All of these are crafted using post-modern, hand-crafted winemaking practices.

The winery has persevered through challenges such as the pandemic and climatic changes. Despite these obstacles, they continue to create surprising flavors that honor the underlying fruit and the traditions of the past.
