La Serenissima
Family-owned estate with immersive vineyard tours
Best known for: Natural, handcrafted premium wines and sustainable agriculture
La Serenissima Vineyards and Winery was established in 1999 by John Tiso. It sits on a twenty-acre Venetian estate in Warner Springs, California, at an elevation of 3,500 feet above sea level.
Inspired by his family's winemaking heritage in Italy, John Tiso focused on sustainable agriculture and organic farming practices. The winery is known for producing natural, handcrafted premium wines from estate-grown grapes, with an emphasis on capturing quality and depth in scent and flavor.
Using traditional winemaking techniques, La Serenissima cultivates a variety of grapes, including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Arneis, and Tempranillo. Tony Tiso, John's son, now oversees the winery’s operations, continuing the family’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
Visitors can experience immersive wine tours and tastings by appointment, where they can explore the vineyards and learn about the winemaking process.
